baby swing

even though the forecasted beautiful spring day was nowhere to be found "r" didnt bat an eye about going outside and challenging me to a round of hoops - after he schooled me in basketball, he was on to rollerblading (he plays hockey too) and golfing. we took a break to warm up inside (how impressive is his lego ship??) and then headed to the neighborhood park where "r" and i had a swinging competition. once again "r" won which meant i was sent to the baby swing. "r" is one of the most well rounded and pleasant 8 year olds i have ever met and i cant wait to photograph him again this summer!

we made it...

and are settled for the most part! i wish i had photos of our new town, but honestly my days in madison have so far pretty much consisted of unpacking, organizing, picking out furniture (love that we have more space) yelping and google mapping. that being said, our family and friends have surpassed our expectations (besides a housewarming gift from my mom i really didnt expect anything) with phone calls, cards, flowers all full of well wishes which has made the monotony of breaking down boxes and sweeping up packing peanuts not seem so painful/boring. i am so ready to get back into the swing of things and will be updating regularly from here on out - stay tuned. xoxo
